I also quite enjoyed his other lo-fi sci-fi directorial debut <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mininova.org\/tor\/2032553\">The Nines<\/a>, and especially appreciate his sobering <a href=\"http:\/\/johnaugust.com\/archives\/2008\/nines-post-mortem\">post-mortem on it<\/a>. It reaffirms my belief that zerobudget is the way to go, as even Sundance-buzzed indie films aren&#8217;t making their budget back.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/johnaugust.com\/archives\/category\/how-to\">His how-to section is excellent, too.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Edit: Sorry, not Reservoir Dogs, Godfather-esque.
