It&#8217;s a lot of the\u00a0same folks I&#8217;ve been making lo-fi sci-fi no-budget films with since 2007 &#8212; except this time we&#8217;re getting paid a living wage for it! Pretty wild. Having a budget also means we can consider renting locations (like the train car above!) as well as accelerate the process &#8212; we&#8217;ll be releasing the first 45-60min (AKA &#8220;Season 1&#8221;) in January, instead of the 3 year odyssey that <a href=\"http:\/\/ghostswithshitjobs.com\">Ghosts With Shit Jobs<\/a> was.\u00a0I also won&#8217;t be wearing as many hats\u00a0(just three: executive producer\/creator\/writer) but I know from the awesome <a href=\"http:\/\/nomediakings.org\/vidz\/haphead-a-neo-noir-webseries.html\">proof-of-concept trailer<\/a> our team produced with minimal interference from me that it&#8217;s in very, very good hands.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to jump on the Haphead train before our mid-August shooting begins, this is what we&#8217;re still looking for!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a large abandoned warehouse or factory we can rent for a day (something like <a href=\"http:\/\/nomediakings.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/ddcb124eb4ede8b683c79e9b39a83bef.jpg\">this pic<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>people with physical talents: parkour, martial arts, circus skills, skateboarding\/scootering, breakdancing<\/li>\n<li>adult background actors (AKA extras) of different ages\/ethnicities (no experience needed)<\/li>\n<li>small camper \/ magic van \/ Winnebago<\/li>\n<li>a house with a little character<\/li>\n<li>onset medic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have a lead on any of the above, please drop our producer Anthony\u00a0a line at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:anthony@lofiscifi.com\">anthony@lofiscifi.com<\/a>\u00a0and he can give you more details.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(Reblogged from No Media Kings) About a month ago we got the\u00a0word that Haphead, our near-future videogame subculture webseries, received funding.
